Issue 207 of The Gooner from September 2010 went to print the day before Theo Walcott suffered an ankle injury whilst on international duty for England so out decision to make him our front cover star following an impressive start to the season was unfortunate to say the least. Some people have suggested that our front cover carries a curse but with our injury record that's probably a harsh assessment. The issue contains a number of articles which question the wisdom of not buying a new goalkeeper before the transfer window slammed shut, with many predicting that the season will end is disappointment as a result. There's also an interview with Glyn Taylor for the Arsenal Supporters Trust which seeks to respond to some of the misinformation there has been following the launch of Arsenal Fanshare and also reports that there has been a phenomenal interest in the first few weeks. In addition there are articles on Arshavin, Members Day, Frank McLintock and much more, plus an amusing incident involving Maltesers recounted by our anonymous steward in the DayGlo View. All this as well as the usual regulars - Highbury Spy, Mickey Cannon, Anger Management, readers letters, Dwight Hart-Lane and In The Away End. Postage in the UK remains free of charge for subscriptions and customers buying more than one issue, including any of those from our back issue catalogue, but it's necessary for us to charge 50p to cover postage costs in the UK for single issue purchases.
